I am thrilled to be returning to the pool deck with the Castroville Otters this season! My journey in the water began years ago in a San Antonio summer league, where I first discovered my love for the sport. That passion eventually led me to compete year-round with AAAA Swimming, but some of my fondest memories were formed right here in Castroville as a member of the Inaugural Otters team in 2014.
After my time as a student-athlete, I transitioned into coaching and spent several years leading the Otters while navigating my college studies. Although I had to step away for a period to focus on other professional priorities, my heart never truly left the water.
This year, I am returning to the team with a renewed energy and a commitment to helping every swimmer reach their full potential. Whether your athlete is looking to shave seconds off a personal best or is jumping into their very first meet, I look forward to a fun, competitive, and successful season. Go Otters!
Coach Martinez is the current Pool Manager at the Castroville Pool. She has been invested in aquatics through competitive swimming, teaching swim lessons, and lifeguarding. She is excited to work and bond with the team!
The Team Rep is a parent volunteer and the sharer of practical information (fees, training and meet schedules, and coordinating volunteers and sponsorships) for the Otters. If a coach is unavailable, they are the team representative both to Otter families and to our League.
